From time to time, we realize that we have lost track of a class member, as an email comes back as undeliverable, or when someone writes to tell us that the information in the directory we distributed at the 40-year reunion is no longer current. Please let us know if you move or if your email changes, or if you know of class members who have moved.
In September, we had the unusual treat of a class member finding us. Dan Steinke was trying to track down Tom Calado and found our site when he Googled him. Tom recently moved, but Dan did find him and updated Tom’s information for us, so it was a double bonus.
One of the most interesting things we are hearing recently is that some classmates who left for the East and West coasts after graduating are now thinking seriously about moving back to Ann Arbor. The city’s cultural offerings, manageable size, first class medical care, increasingly affordable real estate (sorry about that one, for those of you who already live there!), and the presence of old friends, is making it attractive for some of us who have long been away. More on this in the future.
Please keep us updated as your lives change. And if you’re willing, let us share your news with the class via a Class Posting. Send us your write-up, or just send us the facts and we’ll write it for you.
Best wishes for the holidays -
The Class of '65 Reunion Committee

So the big election of 2008 is over. Will we look back someday and remember where we were as Obama went over the top? Is it really the beginning of “a new day” for America? Regardless of our political affiliations, we can only hope that this will be true. Just one of the sobering aspects of this election is that the “young guy” got elected and we are now getting to be the “old guys.” Ouch.
